Staff Wish Lists
Our teachers and staff can use a variety of items, large and small, to help them in the classrooms. Please take a look at the list below--maybe there is something you can offer. Check back often for updates--if an item is crossed out, it means someone has filled the request. Thank you!
Mrs. Jourdan and the 5th graders could use some new office supplies:3 staple removers (the long skinny ones)
White correction tape- 5 bottles
Small staple gun with staples for hanging student work
Compressed gas air dusters- 4 cans
Mrs. Satterfield and the 1st graders request:
An electric pencil sharpener ready for heavy use.
A step-stool for the front of our classroom that students can use to step up on and write on the smart board during interactive lessons.
Supplies of small prizes/items to refill our treasure box: fun pencils, stickers, erasers, notepads, small plastic toy dinosaurs or animals, bouncy balls, etc.
Miss Carter's Kindergarten thanks the generous donor who brought in a piano tuner. The rainbow piano is now perfect in every way!
Ms. Vanessa McAlevey's class could really use an electric pencil sharpener!
Ms. Judy Hunsberger would love a good electric pencil sharpener and a set of multicolor markers for the smart board (she wore them out helping our kids with their homework!)
Mrs. Tochterman could use some refills on basic supplies for Fourth grade:
Pentel Sign Pens (fine tip markers made by Pentel.) 12 single colors to a box. Many colors: red, green, purple, blue, black, brown, pink.
Spiral notebooks (wide ruled); for math and literacy journals
3-prong pocketed report folders: class sets (24 min) in a single color (any colors)
Mr. Andy in Preschool needs a platform to help the children reach the Smartboard. This is something that could easily be built by a parent with basic construction skills. (Hint: we suspect that the other Preschool classrooms would appreciate the same thing. Is there a parent team that would like to have a work party?)
Mrs. McGaffey and the Second grade need more Ticonderoga pencils, and they would love your wire hangers from the dry cleaner for an upcoming project. Also, for the next science unit, they will be sorting rocks--do you have some interesting (small) rocks for them to sort and classify?
Mrs. Tuupo could use an "elf" to fix up the beanbags, which have become flat and need new stuffing to give them new life. This wish has been granted--thank you!
The Front Office needs
a new American flag to replace the tattered Old Glory outside, New flag coming soon, direct from Washington, D.C.! Watch for a flag-raising ceremony soon!
Coffee donations for the staff room (creamer is always nice, too!)
Label Maker and refills
New bulletin board for the front hallway
Outgrown clothes can really come in handy in the nurse's office, kindergarten and preschool. Accidents happen, and it's nice when we can dress the kids in fresh clothes without having to call home. There is also great need for clean, packaged underwear in small (kindergarten) sizes.
ALL classrooms can use more Kleenex, hand sanitizer, hand soap, and snacks--donations are always appreciated and needed!
